Eclipse CD4000 and steering wheel controls?

First a big THANKS to MR2NR at Forbidden Audio for all the great service with this. And now a question:
In the manual it says you can download software from the E-SERV site that can be loaded on the deck to enable the steering controls. However there's no sign of it on the e-serv site. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Well, I googled around and found a few other posts on other forums from people with the same question. Looks like it might just be a matter of connecting the right wires. No one was able to find any software from Eclipse....

Here is the lowdown. Eclipse has built the software for the steering wheel controls to be specific to Toyota vehicles. It also is perhaps a little hit or miss as well as they have not perfected it. What has been perfectd though is the PAC SWI-ECL for use with many different vehicles. This would be the proper way to go.
