Pause button? I haven't used a pause button in years .

Eclipse had a pause and mute... the #3 radio preset is pause during CD playback on the Cd7100 (probably the 3000 and 5000 series too... probably)

Pause is a good button for SPL competition

Mute is on the 5030, I find that quite handy sometimes.

none of the decks i ever used had a pause button just mute... i want pause not mute for spl
