Oh, and IMO it doesn't matter what the size of the company, you can never truely count on them to be around after purchasing something. I think I know of more large companies (many not audio related) that have closed up thier doors than smaller ones.

And slow/n\low, just about every manufacturer uses the same older technologies anyway. Most subs are still a magnet, coil on a former basket, cone and a surround...nothing inovative with that, just parts pieced together. Of coarse this is simplified
Ya very simplified.. please tell me you dont believe what your spewing...

tell me its sarcasm?

thanks guys ill take 5000 of them...
I am just taking it down to your level. From comments you have made earlier you seem to know how eD designs their subs, who they have on staff, all the parts they use, and who they consult with.

Obviously you have no clue what sort of time and effort eD puts into sub design. You are the one spewing...

Now that I have heard their subs, there is absolutly no reason to talk bad about Elemental designs...

we have installed ED subs twice, a single 12, and a single 8. The 12 was sealed and the 8 was ported, and everyone in the shop was impressed with the product

I've been running an e12o.44 from gca in 1.5cubes sealed for about six weeks now and have been very impressed with its sq. It won't blow the windows out but that's not what its for. And the flat piston is just dead sexy.

I don't think too many people have been dissing ed here specifically. Just being cautious.

Everyone should re-read Dukk's post. There's always a risk. But its cool to have something a little different. I mean if anyone remembers "Interesting..." I've got one of the re hc15's with the onyx motor and was pretty pissed at the time, but it's still the mightest sub I'll ever own and sure kicked the **** outa me for the two months I ran it.

Anyways I like my eD 12o.

I owned an 10a and I was impressed byt the sub, enough so that I'd buy another eD sub, or products in the future.
Good stuff.
I have a feeling all of you that are posting negative comments have never used an eD product...

Thanks for the kind words guys. I really appreaciate it.

Just curious. Which shop up there is it that did a few of the installs? I just think it's pretty cool there are a few shops up in canada that are getting to mess with it. Shops around here aren't too enthused over the net brands
