I'm working on getting it all installed, tearing apart the whole car for some dynamat extreme next month, when I had just the subs in it was unbelievably loud. also picking up a set of eclipse pointsource next month
are you running that on a stock electrical?
edit. apparently I cant read.

My car rattles like **** but I am not dynamating it. Going to move the system into a different vehicle and THEN do that. Used 2ga for Big 3, 4ga for amp, and 10ga for subs with a 150amp anl fuse. New battery helps but it's nothing fancy... not a deep cycle

Some amplifiers manuals will actually show you a spectrum of working temperature (ex
-25 degres/+120degrees) so they will work but there is a possibilty of them being so cold they may not start up until the vehicles interior has warmed up.

What about in the summer? I always fear that everything is just too hot.
On really humid days (lets say feels like +30 almost 40 degrees) I'm usually not willing to crank it ... maybe that's just my paranoia?
I feel the same way in the winter, where I'm only playing at low volumes and moving up as everything "warms up" ...
Stupid?
I thought it helps ...

well, that i cant really chime in on, but know that these things are made to dissipate heat, so i cant see and outside heat source making them overheat unless your driving the amp past its limits.
