If I was getting into a SUV I'd personally go for a Acura MDX or Infiniti FX.

But SUV's are not for me anyways.

You can't polish a turd......

The way I look at the Escalade is that it still, for all intents and purposes, is a GM truck. Neither of which has impressed me with fit and finish and interior materials in a number of years. I would much sooner drive an MDX, X-5, ML series MB, even a Touraeg.

I may be slightly more impressed with an Escalade if they actually got off their asses and parked a Northstar V8 under the hood, maybe added some other nifty Caddy technologies, and actually justified the price.

DOn't even get me started on these wanna be Hummer POS...... yeech. A real Hummer doesn't have carpet, has helicopter lift points, and will run stuff over without breaking. Also has a noisy diesel under the hood......

escalades aren't all that bad. biggest difference from a denali is a beefier engine. you get a lil more power and all time 4 wheel drive. they drive pretty nice if you wanna be a balla.

well thanks for the input guys. I got pretty much the same responce from TSR....It was the theft factor that deterred me thoguh.

instead, I am going for a 2004 STI, and going for all out speed.

....with a little system of course
