Exploring Options... Would This Work?

Would it be possible to use a DD1508 as a dedicated midbass driver? I have 2 sitting around and i was just wondering if i could put them to use for some more midbass punch

sure, give it a try! put a bunch of good power on them, put them in a solid sealed enclosure (if they like sealed, check owners manual?) band-pass them properly and let us know how it turns out.
