I would tend to agree with DWVW. There are a great deal of crappy recordings out there which interact with different decks/amps etc. differently. I remember when I was running my Db Drive amp to a sub off the factory deck, the bass would suddenly get loud at the exact same spot in particular songs. I replaced the factory unit with a Kenwood deck and the problem never happened again.
