FI recone.

I just bought a BTL and was informed the surround was knicked. It turned out to be alot worse ans the surround is actually punctured. (pic attached) Where can I find a recone?

Fi sells them get some shoe goop and put it under surround it will hold good enought, wheni got DDs the surrounds were torn ( bought semi workin dds in need of recones) gooped surround back togeather and it held very well thorshammer swears by shoe goop and gorilla tape

The surround is repaired underneath, But I want to run full wattage and not have to worry.

Should be fne... let it fully cure first it held on my DDs when i was trying to blow them lol

dont use goop. get gasket maker, it works much better and bonds amazing with the foam surround such as the one on that sub. put it on both sides

Thais is the original thread? And it is already repaired underneathj withthe black glue thats holding the spiders in, should it be ok?

use shoe glue, i used it on some previous speakers and worked fine. Use it till it goes then get a recone.
