Fiberglass Dash Bezel - What can I expect to pay?

Hey folks, so a while back, I picked up an IVA-W200 for my Jeep. Had to do some minor modifications to make it fit, and when all said and done it was alright looking, but not what i hoped exactly. At the time it was half hte price it hought it was gonna be to install, so i was fairly ok with things.

Now i've noticed there are a lotta rattles coming from that area (maybe not a lot, but a couple) and things just aren't fit together as well as they should. The trim won't stay on properly or when you tilt the screen the trim will get caught on the screen etc etc.

So what i'd prefer to do, is hopefully get a new bezel made there, which will ultimately look better, and hopefully a little more flush mount with the head unit.

I took a picture without the trim piece as i took it off hte other day when it was just getting in the way anyways. My question is...and I hate to even ask it, but what should I be expecting to pay to get a new fiberglassed bezel???

Or you people that actually know what the hell you're doing (aka not me), is there alternatives, or what would you do to straighten this up.

here's the dash currenlty to give you some help on whats required or your own ideas: (not fairly big pic about 3mb)

(Pay no attention to the wires in the bottom left...normally those are covered, but that stupid carpet has a habit of folding back on me.)

It needs some love no doubt. Time is the thing here. The more the time into the job, the better the fit and finish is going to be. Materials is not going to be that bad at all. Any person can do but a person well versed with the job is going to have a superior result for you. I would imagine that the labour alone is almost 6 hours of time at a minimum, this alone should come in around the $300.00 mark. With materials and depending on the finish chosen, it is going to land in the $400-$600 mark.

Hmmm just what i was afraid of. None the less, this guy is all about things looking good, which has always been the case until this install. So maybe he'll cut me a deal since i'm not happy.

Do i have any alternatives to just doing the whole fiberglass thing?? Any suggestions of another way i could work this?

In case anyone else checks this thread...

Buddy at the shop said it'd probably be about $400-$500 leaning a tad bit more toward $400 for my vehicle, but it'd look absolutely stock - plus they could better place the HU (not so close to the top of my dash - only like mm's as it is).

But yeah, that was the quote, plus my vehicle for at least a day near the end to make the final touches to the piece.

Anywho, just thoguht i'd let people know in case anyone else inquires.

Talking

$400.00 to make it look stock is not bad. If you are in Edmonton, one of my installers moved there and he is amazing with fiberglass work, Not sure of the shop name but the installers name is Dean Siladji. He could make that look stock for sure. Call a few shops and ask if he is working there.
