coulter i would highly doubt your claims as well
if your voltage increase were to double
i would think that you amp running under would have shut down from to low of input voltage
i would say probably you didn't use a consistant measurement standard

Well I'm happy that your upgraid worked for you. As long as your ok with it then I'm ok with it. Can we leave it at that. I know when I did my alt, wiring and batt. upgaid I found it greatly improved the system. Every thing else is Bla Bla Bla

i would say from my knowlage that you don't know shet from tar
you like to prove things that you obviously know nothing about
you make internet knowlage a dangerous thing
Well, I took my measurments when the VOLTAGE SHOWED 11.8 volts with my car off...

...then I turned on my car...it showed the battery was only getting 13.4 volts...this reading was the average reading I got THREE DAYS AFTER I DRAINED THE BATTERY DOWN TO 11.8 volts...

When I did the same test with 4 GAUGE wire installed MY READINGS JUMPED FROM 13.4 volts to 14.2 IN ONLY ONE HOUR...I think it's a pretty simple explanation...maybe you can do the math for me...but 14 volts is 14 volts no matter if YOU **** IN THER TOILET OR MISS IT'S STILL GONNA BE THERE.

sorry to tell you this but your methods are not at all accurate
and that is not an indicator to which you can say what state of charge your battery is
