Plain and simple bias which is still not ok in this country. Makes even more of a reason to shop ebay when stuff like this happens.
Wake Up before some hungry lawyer does!
I'm the moderator who gave you the location warning.

You want to know exactly what I meant? Read the description of the warning.

You posted a thread asking for information on Blade amplifiers in the For Sale section.

Nice and simple, hunh?

This is a funny post....please post your pic Almo, so if you ever darken my door, I'll be sure to share sweet f all with you of what I've learned over the years.....Yep....you sound like the kind of leach that hangs around the shops, gaining as much information as you can, be educated on the hows and whys of it all, and then off you go to spend your money somewhere else.
My shop rate is $60/hr....that's a buck a minute. And if my expertise isn't worth anything to you.....well E-bay is open 24/7....have at'er.....But when your system doesn't sound quite up to par (and I can pretty much guarantee that yours still sucks)....well E-bay is still open.
Meanwhile, I'll take the $20 of time you've saved me by not coming in, to take a well deserved break between LOOKIN AFTER my customers.

Ebay is great if you want something unauthorized and are willing to possibly take it in the bum when you get ripped off.
Obviously almo, you arent happy with your local retailers, and that sucks, but you really have to look at why you are taking it out on the mods here.
Based on what was posted for their reasons, I think maybe n apology or two might help smooth things over.

As far as the ebay/local retailer, I buy local whenever I can, because I like being treated like a customer, but there are times when I just cant justify it.

For example, a non fused distro block, 0/1 or 4 input, 1x4ga out and 2x8ga out simply cannot be found in any of the shops I have checked.
The closest thing, which will not work for my purpose, is being sold for double the canadian msrp.
Sorry, but I cant justify paying $80 for something that wont work, so ebay or knukonceptz here I come.

Ebay has it's place... I've bought a fair amount of stuff on ebay, including my HU, optical cable, and 3 amps that I'll be running. I've also bought some other things that I've used in the car, and even my wedding program stationary came from ebay.

ebay is fine, as long as you know that you're not going to get the service, warranty, or support that you'd get from a shop, and you can find things at a price that makes those negatives worth it. For isntance, I couldn't find anywhere else that I could get a Head Unit with an optical output for 110 US, so I got it on ebay.

before you buy on ebay, make sure that you can afford the item, and that you're taking every precaution against getting burned. I had one seller try (*I think) to scam me, so I shut the process down immediately, and didn't pay a cent.

That said, ebay auctions aren't allowed to be posted here, and you have to put your location in your classified ads.
