Check the prices around for that amp, and see if you like that deal. JL makes excellent equipment. Current thirsty like Kicker, but quality stuff. If you want raw power that Kicker kx700.5 would give you more, but brand-wise I would surely go for JL.

for kicker. which is better. the zx or kx series? what is the difference?

how does the kicker kx 5 channel compare to the alpine mrv-752?

Kicker will give more power than Alpine, and quality is about the same. KX is discontinued, so you can get it even cheaper. ZX has minor changes. Nothing major. Can't go wrong with either 5-channel amp. ZX is shorter - no end caps.
