grizz i can tell you that the kenwood is not what your making it
from what i have seen you are a victim of the place you deal with
you have 3 examples to show that
your kenwood deck and your orion amp and sub
if you were my customer you would not have went through what you did
i can't remember the last deck i sent in for warranty

grizz the kenwoods load them the same way that all the other ones do
with rubber rollers
the only place the cd is touched by those rollers
is on the edges
so guess what dust on something that grips the cd by what 1/64 of an inch
guess what happens the cd dosn't load properly
from what i have seen from working on them the only cd players that get that dirty are really old were in a body shop or some hillbilly that lives on a dirt road and tailgates the guy ahead of him thats stiring up all the dust

i would just go back and tell them i dons't load the disk anymore
they usually cover everything except water damage

I had a bodyshop wreck my kenwood deck (and I loved that thing) I took the face off while they were doing work, and they took out the front and rear windows and sandblasted the car... filling the CD slot with sand, they also filled the motors on my 6X9's with sand, ruining them. stupid barstards.
