ok, how do you hook my sub up to be a 1 ohm load?
i dont understand how this works, theres 2 +'s and 2 -'s on my sub, i assume i hook up to both but how?sorry for being so dumb, im not used to this, before i just ran 2 free air pioneers of an old PG 400.2..

you wire both + together then into the amp + then wire the - together then run them in the - on the amp that will give you a 1ohm load.

ok that makes sense, what about the bridging part. i have to do that for the MA amp dont i?in order to get the 400 wrms?

thats dependent on the amp, in most cases there are 4 screws for speakers, you hook the + to the left sides + on the amp then the - from the subs to the right - on the amp, if you're buying the amp new it should come with a manual for bridging, if not, theres usually markings on the amp itself telling what two pins are bridged.
