gp3000d 8ohm?

gp3000d 8ohm?
I am wondering if you can run a gp at 8 ohm? Sub is a d4, 750 rms so 2 ohm would destroy it.

running a amp at higher impedances makes the amp work less hard, therefore it is never bad for a amp. You just get a lot less power. So to answer your question, yes its ok to run that amp at 8 ohms

Why not run it at 2ohms and set your gain accordingly ?
