it seems that its not quite as simple as it seems, when i put the pin in after its disarmed, the screw wont work anymore, untill i put it in with it disarmed... so it does need to have the proper pin if you dont unplug the power. as soon as you unplug it, anythiing will work, it just sets itself to whatever you put in it. its in the manual, so you can make more than 1 work on a single pin.
