i've been having trouble with my setup, so i've gave in, and i'm getting a harness.

however, i want the car to look stock, so i'm putting the aftermarket head unit under the driver side seat, and not removing the factory head unit, it will only be unhooked.

i'll run the wires from the harness to the back of the aftermarket H.U. under the floor mat and under the dash, but will the lengths of these wire splices be too long? especially the ground?

i could always take the H.U. ground wire to a closer bolt on the chassis.

any help please.

 

the ground running that long should cause any problems, but grabbing a better ground off the chasis is always a good idea. as far as the speaker wires, and all the others they should pose a problem either.
