I'm pretty used to dirt and dust, living in a fairly rural area but IMO the worst are trucks with rubber floors rather than carpet. I had one come in just a couple weeks back and the floor was all clean and shiny but when I took off the sill plate it was PACKED with all the dirt and grime that was washed off the floor.

The funniest thing I had was once a VERY stuck up jackass comes in wearing a suit, slicker haircut, fancy glasses - a real business executive look. Had a brand new 4Runner and wanted a new deck. He buys a fairly high end Alpine CD and goes on and on about how the truck is NEW and I have to be carefull, blah blah blah. I open the glove box so I can remove the dash trim and out falls at least half a dozen hardcore **** mags. Not something one could class up like a Playboy but hardcore stuff. lol, I looked at him and the look on his face was priceless. Not such a big man now eh perv?..

Seriously though - at least take the crap out of the trunk if you want me to put an amp in there...
Yeah I've found some hardcore stuff as well but this guy was a few bricks short of a house if you know what I mean. He talked real slow it took him about five minutes to complete a sentance. I hope he wasn't using them in the car. I just watched a commercial that say's that hepatitis b can live for 3 days on a surface, I think I just got a little parinoid! The worst thing I think was the bottle of **** though, I have also found live ammunition, knives, bags of weed stuffed in the centre console, viles of coke, I even spilt a guys bong once, was putting subs in and didn't see it in the back seat and knocked it over. It smelled horrible the list goes on and on. There was even a truck(farm truck i belive) with those rubber floors that Dukk loves so much. The truck had cow s**t every where and was infested with flies. I had to draw the line on that one. Come on guy's there's got to be more horror stories!

I've got a theory that every vehicle has at least one mcdonalds fry in it somewhere or another. I've come out of a few remote starter installs with them stuck to me.

I work for a big box store and we're not allowed to say anything. Something about offending the customer.I would love to refuse so of these cars but I would loose my job. The car with the **** was a remote start, so I had to put on long sleeves and covered it with carpet. It made my skin crawl just being in it.

so glad I'm not working on people's **** boxes anymore. I remember getting into mechanics for the love of cars, but the daily grind of working on junk just erased that enthusiasm over time.

I was interested in maybe working for a shop installing stuff... but, reading all this is forcing me to rethink... I guess I'll stick to doing friend's cars instead... at least I know what I'm getting into ahead of time...... most of the time.... lol

The car with the **** bottle was probably a trucker. We all have **** bottles in our trucks

I sure as Hell dont have one in my car though, that would be gross.

Yeah, Bongs do stink, but if I found a few grams of weed, well, tough luck buddy.

To any LEO's reading this, get over it. I'd rather have the kids smoking the odd joint than sucking back a bottle of Smirnoff every day.

Womens cars seem to be the worse for clutter. Guys cars usually have tools, bolts and screws in the cupholders, etc.

Keeping a car looking spiffy takes work. You have to keep on it constantly but peoples cars are part of thier "personal space" (ever see people at a light with thier finger in thier nose up to the knuckle? They think they are in thier living room and no one can see them.) and if you are a slob then it shows in your car.

I went back awhile ago and looked at your build pics. Quite the project.
