So yeah I'd like to get a sub/amp this week..

So I'll be buying from Futureshop due to employee discount..

I have a 1996 Civic HB, with kappa 6x9 and Alpine Type S 6x1/2

I was thinking, I mainly listen to reggaeton and dance music...So for that, I've been told 10" are better because they're faster?

As far as the amp is concerned, I'm pretty much set for the MTX 6001 but it's the subs that are the problem..

From experience, what will sound better?

1x 12" new mtx red one
2x 10" new mtx red one
1x 10" Infinity Kappa

Essentially these are the subs I'm debating on, anybody have or has heard a similiar set up?

If you are running a 6001 you want a 2 ohm load. Since FS doesn't only sells SVC 4 ohm woofers you need a pair to maximize the amp.

With that in mind, #2 is your best option: 2x 10" new mtx red one
