yeah i have one about 10 inches from the battery and the other in the rear. these amps don't have fuses.

 

oh just reread the manual too, i was mistaken, the gain is correct on this amp. i was backwards.

just some updated pics. the guy i got the powerbass amp sent me the 400.4 instead of the 600.4 but he is giving me a good partial refund and i'm just gonna keep it for now. works good on my other speakers. here's the pics.

I sure hope you installed that fan. Thats a lot of sun through that hatch window. My Lanos hatch yielded a 55 degrees on my T3-500d on start up.

 

haven't yet but i will be, and the windows are going to 5% tint too.
