Question

To install two amps, a pair of subs, and a set of components in a 2002 Elantra GT? I've heard that they're pretty simple to work on, but I'm not really familiar with newer cars, so that'll probably slow me down somewhat. I'll also probably be doing this all by myself unless I can find somebody to give me a hand with it.

I've got my head unit in, and I'm hoping to install the rest of my system if I can find the time this weekend

Depends on the quality of work you want to do. I could do it in and hour and a half but it would be getto!! I think it would take a saturday to do. Enough time for you to drive around and bump around in the evening! As long as you have all the supplies and tools so you don't have to do alot of running around.

Depends on what you want to do, my install has taken nine years variuos components and even a couple of cars and it is still not even close to being finished.

Well, I'll want to do a decent job of it obviously, although the trunk area is probably gonna be a mess until I can get my hands on a box that'll fit in there properly.

It's weird...looking at it, it doesn't really seem like there's a lot for me to do - just pop off the door panels, replace the speakers, run my wiring, and put it all back together, but I'm sure it'll take me an entire day regardless

Well, I know how that goes...right now though I'm just interested in transferring my system over from the Nova into my new car
