Interesting.

I'm going to go do some research on that. Would the 7200 have that "fader" type TA as well?

Not sure about 7200 model. Time delay is what I am talking about.

Yes, I understood.

I had 'Time Alignment" in my head, or maybe the OTHER thing T/A stands for...

Interesting though, no matter what I called it by mistake.

I dont think you made a mistake. It seems all makes call it collectively time allignment, even though they may be utilizing a different concept.

p.s. Perhaps a wrong choice for words when I called Eclipse T.A. crappy. Other makes use the same concept and some people like the results and may even prefer it over time delay, I however like time delay better, and if I really need fader type settings due to possible really big size of the vehicle, a fader may be used.

can you explain how it's different? Eclipse's 7200II manual describes and demonstrates their T/A the same way as my Alpine PXA-h701. There may be differences in their increments or specific features, but the T/A as far as I can see, works the same way by delaying the closest speakers using time...not by fading (intensity).

Did you not read the thread carefully where I said I was not sure about the 7200 model, I was referring to older models. Do you need more explanation?
