How to setup Ipod to Aux AND have it charged
#22
hmm i see. thanks again guys!
well once i get an ipod charger/dock, i will take it apart and see what i have to work with. I hope I don't have to run yet another line from the battery. God I hate doing that, hehe, but atleast it does ensure proper voltage.
i will not be using the cig. lighter, but i do want to keep it open incase I need it in the future, ie for cell phone charger or the like.
i also want to wire up some blue neons under the dash, but I have seen how-to's online.
so...yeah, thanks once again, and get back to me with more help/ideas if possible.
PS*1 handed typing sucks. sorry for not capitalizing, it takes too much time with 1 hand
take care!
edit* another reason why i want it hard-wired is for a more professional look. I don't want passengers to think i am a complete tool...i take pride in my car audio work! keep in mind I am 18 and this is basically the first major electrical job ive done in car (amp, sub, speakers, deck, ipod)
