Hi, I have a infinity 610cs component set and i can't seem to get any sound out of one of the tweeters. I know its not the crossover cause i checked it with another speaker and i get sound its just the one tweeter. Does anyone know how i can check this tweeter to see whats wrong with it. thanks

Do you have a multimeter to test it with? If so, and the tweeter is a 4 ohm one, check it on the Ohm function, it should read around 3-4 ohms. If the tweeter is blown, I think the reading will be a very large number, someone correct me if I am wrong. If the tweeter is shorted, I think the reading will be very low. Also, try it out on the continuity function, touch one lead to the + and one to the - , it should beep if the tweeter is still good, I do believe. Hope this helps.

If it is blown i think it will read 0 or error. Not 100% positive thought.
