The fact that he tried to make a second account under the name "Greg's an ***" shows me the level of maturity that he possesses and leads me to believe he IS the type to pull that sort of stunt.

HE didn't correct his "mistake" ... the site owner who was speaking with him did it for him after repeatedly asking him to change it himself and getting the "BUT I'M WITH IMAGE DYNAMICS AND WE'RE HUGE!!" reply.

He created the secondary account that you can see above.

Ahwell... he's gone, you're gone.... none of us have to deal with this stress.

I'm sure he's very happy with the other 15 forums he's on.

I'll add, Sean @ Image Dynamics clearly CANNOT read or follow direction.

Before he chose his name, in BRIGHT RED it says don't use a commercial name.

It is not my fault that his parents, the education system and whoever else failed him in life. Go away, I don't care.

Every forum I go to ID seems to be very highly recommended product, so when I found it how hard it was to get this company's products to Canada I was suprised. I'm not sure how the car audio market works but having a dealer with stock would be nice.
I'm sure if I like the speakers and others like theirs, there's only one way, and it's to improve and spend more $$$
I wait for a day when I can stop by a shop and check these out in person.

The sad part is that ID makes a REALLY good product that I'd be proud to have in my car, but the actions of Sean just made the company look very bad in my opinion.

He broke one of the boards rules - no problem, it happens on a daily basis. We spoke to him and asked him to comply. He refused and tried to force the issue by saying that because he wasn't trying to sell anything that he should be allowed to use the name.

The part he doesn't realize is that the board rule is there for a reason and it's not negotiable.

Rather than try to be reasonable about it he gave attitude to the owner of the site who thought it best to have him removed from the site.

Then he comes back with an alternate account and tries to cause more drama. (btw, to the person on "that other forum" who says that we traced him to both accounts using his IP - Sorry, its not done that way. We're a bit smarter than that. It sounds like you know about computers and IT in general but don't assume that we have no clue. Both the owner and myself were working in IT LONG before we ever got involved with forums.)

In any case, rather than try to discuss with the owner/admins he chose to go THIS route. It's unfortunate. In general we're pretty reasonable people if you treat us with respect. If you chose to ignore the rules and try to force the issue with us when you're a guest on OUR forum then it won't go well for you.

Either way, I'm glad you got what you were looking for. Like I said, from what I see about ID they make a great product. It's unfortunate that ego's got in the way here.

Banned for a BRAND name appreciative username... I 100% agree to go after the small busines that directly solicit buisiness from the site. but a general "Brand name" username.. would you guys ban "Pioneerfreak".. Alpine Luvr" it's supporting a hugely generic every day brand name. what is a member chose the username " Budlightdrinker"...

I like CCA.. it's a great community, but of late the admin has lost sight of the real world and and completely has fallen out of synch with car audio and it's fan base.

Did "The Man" buy you guys guys out... what happened??
