I know but it is less than 1 ampere right? That still matters? I was wonderin about it but I thought it would not make a difference.

this is why you have noise
remote turn on wire is a power wire !
Not even close........only with higher amperage does it induce noise into signal cable......... As for you lspade, if you dont figure the problem out but the cheap isolator did the trick(except 4 the popping) spend the money on a nice soundgate isolator. And I believe it was mentioned b 4 but switch ur RCA's to see if the noise moves to the other side
