[QUOTE=admincca] These are people YOU and Pat associate with. [QUOTE]

well yeah..cause we associate with everyone....we dont say no to somone cause they are dicks...we dont refuse anyone cause they idiots.there are good people out there and we associate with them....there are good guys cause they have done nothing but good things for the industry. an there are crap people....but we associate with them too. cause even the crap guys have something to do with the industry. you can't say well the people that we associate are crap...cause thats not a full description of who we associate with....we associate with them all. import...spl ..sq...noobs...legends...crap ...good... bad.....

its would be like saying this site is no good....no... it IS good, because cca has some great things that people should see and hear....and it is bad because it lacks a many things... but to call it bad or good is not right.

its when you take the good with the bad and then make it better. you learn from your mistakes and we learn from our mistakes.....and then you do you become a better person/installer/dealer/etc...

but when the line is set in stone....then there are no more gray areas. only black and white...there is no room for improvement....and i know that guys always used to come back hear and learn and grow. become better people...there is no more "improvement" from now on.

this site is good. so are others...but it sucks to have to go to sites all over the place...when there truly was one site that you could get it all at...here.

and there are a heck load of guys that will be vocal on thier opinion because they want CCA to grow and prosper...lots...banned or not.

So I can post my event without having to give rights to pictures?

If so, I commend admins for being reasonable.

Calendar is free, 100%. Yes you can post your event. It goes through a moderation phase to eliminate the spammers.

I got tired of being reasonable... im now at step 4

I understand that you are trying to take the site in a more profitable direction and there is nothing wrong with that at all; however, part of what you purchased when you took over this site were the clients that participated on it (ie client base/audience). Much like Shadow has tried to express (and quite well I add), some of your actions have isolated the existing client base.

Many people come here to express ideas, share opinions, gain knowledge, find out information about the industry, etc.

The more you isolate or turn away industry members the less "experts" you are going to have to draw "members" that want input/advice from them.

I have to admit I use this site more for "personal" commuication with other members of the industry and if those guys were not around I wouldn't be around either -- does that matter to YOU? Perhaps not, but when will it matter to you? When EVERYONE leaves and this becomes the Walmart of Car Audio forums rather than the highly regarded/respected site it is?

Rick, you bought this site because you obviously have knowledge and experience in this field and saw an opportunity to take this site to the next level and to do this, changes are going to occur. Nevertheless, is isolating every last person part of this growth process?
