So the 6x9's and the rear 5.25's are hooked up together, which would depending on how he hooked them up either be an 8 ohm load or 2... if it's 2 running of a Sony deck that's not good... if it's 8... you're only getting half the power to the speakers.
As for buying stuff from Radio Shack... it's not always a bad thing, there are some smaller independant Radio Shacks out there in the small towns and they carry some brand name products...
As for the whole if its cheap its good to you line... if what you had was good you wouldn't be on here asking how to fix it. There is a For Sale section here as well as eBay has some decent gear that you can pick up for most likely similar prices to what you paid for your Jensen gear retail...

 

k i guess ya you got a point condomboy i guess my stuffs not all that good. it drains my battery and every time my subs hit a sub tune my lites go dim. and for the ebay thingy, if i had a credit card i would go on thier, but unfortunatly that's what i lack. so unless people accept any other kind of payment thiers no buying stuff online for me and thiers the lack of money to.

got a job but finding one in this town is hard, becasue it's so small. i have started making my system better with yours guy's tips. im going out right now to get some mdf board from UFA. Then in shop class i shall peice it togehter peice by peice.

i wouldn't say vermillion is a that small of a town. if you ever come to cold lake i could prolly give you a hand and look at what you got to work with.

 

i would be driving but see now i lack a drive able car. my car got t boned last week and now im on the old bmx (man i forgot how good this bike is). well when you live here almost all your life the town just seems to get small cause nothing new and excting opens up, very often.
