hey i appreciate the review, it's nice to hear good things about them i'm actually looking to get two pdx 1.1000 and two Type X's. gota sell the type r's and the 500m first. let alone the garage full of other stuff that has been going down in stock slowly.

i used to own a Type X as well, if you like your type R's you will love the Type X. I have since got rid of the type x and have a single ID MAX, and i will say though, the ID Max is a nicer sub. so look into those when you plan on upgrading. they are both 1000RMS, a perfect match for the PDX amps. they Type X will hit a little harder, but the difference in SPL isn't worth missing out on the far superior SQ of the ID Max. ..two of either of those subs and you will blow your car apart:P
the only thing i am sketchy on with the PDX amps is their crossovers. if you have a nice headunit though, you can use the crossovers on it.

that;s what i try and aim for when i sell or install a sytem take care of any questions, ask them what suits them, and work out the best sytem that works for them. I Would rather deal with one person who care's about your needs then a mega corp who looks at you as another number or sale...

As long as the subs are not the .4 series then they are great subs. Chances are they are the .1 version and they have been a great sub for us. Not one failure to date.
