thats totally the point i was trying to get at. once people know that you lay on your back and take it. everyone will want a crack.

also getting lunch and beer and whatnot is not working for free. its working for beer and thats AOK

we all want to help friends out but i dont work for free and my friends dont work for free. if i need something from them i give them money or barter vise versa. everybody gets what they want and in the end and everyones happy.

Ya if it was a really good friend and he helped out and bought me some food or somthin i wouldnt really care, its like a trade. BUT the fact is that this guy, altho somewhat of a friend, HAS screwed use over on a few different ocassions...

B-Burn: i dont know where you got $40/hour. I did spend more time then just 2 hours. For the Record, i took out his alpine HU from his pathfinder, took all the wires out(power, ground,RCA, remote), and took out amp and sub/box. installed factory deck. Now in the forester, i took the Factory HU out, installed the alpine, 2 sets of speakers. Now it would of probly only took 3-4 hours to do all this, BUT the place he had all the stuff installed in the pathfinder did the work very ****y, they didnt cut the power wire down, they left almost 6 feet extra, SOOOO all the extra wire they deside to rap around the drivers side seat frame. i had to take the driver seat out and pull the carpet up. the rest of the istall was done like that too...

Since he's not a great friend you should charge him, but not a lot. I'd say 100.00 is fine, I install stuff for my buddies sometimes and its always free but I enjoy it and the experience helps as well.
