I wouldn't worry about re-doing the big 3.....they are relatively short wires and will carry a lot of currrent....Father Yuli was selling some wire the other day, maybe if you PM him he can hook you up....

There was no type. The crown amps- bpx and gti series make more power at a higher ohm load vs lower. I believe, if some one could correct me , it has a series/parallel wiring option on it, using jumpers n what not. One option gives you more current in the output, so the 1800 wrms @ 1 ohm will have higher current numbers vs voltage compared to the other mode?

I had a look at the manual for that amp.........interesting use of the output power available.....looks like setting it in bridged mode with your 3 subs wired to 2.67ohms will keep the amp in it's operating range, which should keep the signal nice and clean and your subs working their butts off......

Thanks guys for all your help! I plan on installing it as soon as possible. It sort of involves removing my entire sub box again and some new wood to install it. So hopefully I'll find time before the comp.

True that!! I just want to be able to use the full range of my volume **** as it doesn't clip until 39 of 40 without over powering my subs and blowing one. Hense my questions about the amps gain and my decks sub control. As the BigRedGuy said this amp is gonna give may subs a nice clean sound that will definitely be close to their thermal handling. I'm just new to bass race and DB drag and would like to leave the comp with my system in the same state it showed up in.
