wow, 1830$ the guys at a&b sound here are asking 1100$ for there 12W7 in the hi performance box.

From everything I have heard, if you want SQ and a woofer that can take a beating these are some of the subs out there for you.

I am buying a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
I listen to a lot of rap, such as Mobb Deep, Snoop Dogg, DL Incognito, Sizzla. I also listen to rock, metal and punk sometimes, such as marilyn manson, G&R, AFI, pennywise. SO i figure one good 12 inch would do for now, then maybe buy a second if I have the dough and want more bass. I am still trying to learn and understand car audio so I am not too sure what I want my system to do, other than not blow the driver/speakers, play loud and hard, as far as power I am not too sure either. I know I will need to get a new amp.
Is audiobahn any good??
I live in Ottawa, does anyone know where I can get the XXX or any other of the recommended subs in Ottawa. Or atleast try them out. I will be moving to Utah in Jan, so I be able to pick the system up out there if it is a lot cheaper.

there are better amps for the money than audiobahn, you can get the XXX or brahma from online dealers, i think there are a couple on htere that could hook you up. there are all so some good amps for sale in the for sale section atthe moment that you may want to check out. and if you getting any of these subs, i hope your upgrading your factory speakers

With your listening tastes I would take a very good look at the Orion H2. It has a bit less on the very bottom compared to the XXX and Brahma but has a lot more output a bit higher up which may make you a lot happier given your music preference.

sorry I didn't clarify in my post above.
When I asked about audiobahn, I was asking if the companies line of products, from drivers, amps to decks, etc. are any good and comparable with JL and the others mentioned.

Thanks again for all of the info, it really is going to help me make a more wise decision.

maybe try a MTX Sledghammer dual 12" ported box with 7500 series drivers, best bang for the buck about $850 loaded, will destroy 1 w7!!
