I just don't see the logic in dropping $550 on a 250watt amp that isn't anything special that's all.

Anyways, Kennedy HiFi has always been on the pricey side but they do good work and they're a good crew.

For those subs I would look for something in the 5-600watt class. Especially if SPL is more of a concern. </font>[/QUOTE]those prices are not out of line i sell the jl stuff and the amps are well built pieces

the slash stuff is more exspensive but its a neeish peice

 

I didn't say those prices were out of line for JL or that they were inferior products.

I feel JL is rather overpriced though and I see someone that says he is leaning towards spl more than sq and he's got subs that will take the power. So I could recommend him a well made amp that does 250rms for $550 or I can recommend a well made amp that does 600rms for $550. Both solid performers with excellent sonics.
Which do you think he'd rather have?
