JL audio shallow subs

JL audio shallow subs

has anybody had a chance to get there hands on a new JL audio shallow mount sub?......any opinions yet or expreiences with them?............I know they offer a 12" and 13.5" version of what they call the TW5 shallow mount sub..looking at these or the kicker cvt shallow mount subs

Im in the same boat. I wanna see if they are worth the 600 theyre listed for.

i got a quote for the 13TW5 for $650. Picked up 2 Kicker cvt's on sale for $310. Couldn't be happier.

the cvt's need 0.7 cuft and the TW5 needs 0.8 cuft in sealed enclosures.

That doesnt change the fact that i want to to know how the 13TW5 sounds comparing to other subs. Keep in mind that the 13TW5 is runs at the same power as 2 cvts combined. Half the space though, and shallower mounting depth.

it is good to see that you kmow what you are looking for (a sub that sounds more then the $ of it )
