i have a choice to make i can either buy a 10w7 or 2 8w7's
if i get the 10" it's going in the ported box made to jl specs and if i get the 8" then they are going into 2 sealed boxes
now i don't know which one will be louder and need some help

 

grab the 8"s but go for ported.....

 

i wish i could but i don't have enough room for 2 8" ported lol i have room for 2 8" sealed or 1 10" ported and i have no idea lol

 

id still for the 8's......

 

thx anyone else have any oppinions

1 for 10 and 1 for 8s... that evens the score :s.....

 

What amp are you running. with the 8's you can run at 1.5ohm or 6ohm and with the 10 you can run at 3ohm. This will make a big difference on the output you will get.
If your amp is only 2ohm stable go with the 10". If the amp can do 1ohm get the 8's. Also the 2 8's give you a little more power handling (1000w compared to 750w).

 

well according to jl the amp i should use for the 8" is the 250/1
and for the 10" the 500/1 and if i have 2 8" the 500/1 should work fine too and it can go down to 1.5 ohms and it's 500rms regardless of ohms

 

Go with the 10W7.
