i have 2 1200.1's stapped
AWESOME amps

the 600.1 is great too.

as for loading it down sure you can

i had a single 1200.1 loaded down to .5ohm and never had a problem with it

KX1200.1 is 1 ohm stable.
KX600.1 is 2 ohm stable but can run at 1 ohm with little difficulties.

I thought a lot more people would have stuff to say about this amp, isn't kicker supposed to be really good quality equipment???

Ive seen em blow up pretty easily... Id probably caution against running at 1/2 rated load unless you are carfull...
