Kicker kx600.1 subsonic filter?

Hey all finally got a system up and running [img]smile.gif[/img]

Running 2 12" comp vrs @2ohm with a kicker kx600 amp. box is a dual ported box. (4 ports on top)
wondering should my subsonic filter be on? wuts it do? will i have to get my gains, bass boost readjusted.. like with it on does it make a sound differenc.. because iam totally audio illierate and have to goto futureshop to get it adjusted....

Set it 1/2 an octave below the tuning frequency. In simpler terms, multiply the tuning frequency by 0.75 [img]smile.gif[/img]

If you don't know the tuning frequency of your enclosure, set it to between 25-30 Hz ...

but the subsonic filter is only a on/off switch... should i turn it on, and then change the cross over control? but doesnt that start from 50hz? iam confused....

I feel stupid (it was late, I wasn't thinking) ... Forgot that it's only a switch and it's set @ 25 Hz ... Turn it on [img]smile.gif[/img]
