Kicker L7 15's OR Stroker 15's??!?
hi,imo solobaric are more suited to sq than stroker.however the solo has the dispacement of a kicker comp 18,and can be used in a smaller box.i think that the stroker is capable of moving faster due to its lighter cone & dual spiders(high hz burps) check out kicker.com to get the recomended vol for the enclosure, and compare the recommended box for the stroker...i hope this helps
I find the Stroker has better SQ than the Solo in the right box, from a sub to sub comparison. I haven't tinkered with L7's much, but in the setup now, I find my 15" stroker hits fast, loud and deep with any music, keeps up the beats with my fear factory CD's and puts out the shattering low bass on them Crystal Method tracks.
I also know that strokers have higher sensitivity (95db for the 15) over many other subs including L7's, so it's able to play loud with less than rated power.
