Last Question , Finally Buying a System lol !

So im buying 2 MTX 9500's but there are two types on this site and i dont know which one is right , SVC or DVC ???

heres the model numbers : MTX T9512-04 or MTX T9512-44 ... Which one is 4 ohm so i can buy two and run them down to 1 ohm ????

Second Question , I went on crutchfield.com and they told me that Alpine Speakers will fit my BMW so should i buy them online or no ?

These are all the questions guys , i know i have been a pain in the *** lol

T9512-04 is the single 4ohm model.

Buy whatever you want from wherever you feel like it

Well yes and no. If you get 2 SVC 4ohm subs they will run either 2 or 8 ohms. If you get 2 DVC 4ohm subs they will run 1, 4, 8, or 16ohms I believe. Although I don't see why you would wire to 16ohms but it would be possible. Bottom line is DVC subs = more flexibility when wiring. Check out this link for more info. http://www.audiosavings.com/content/ebay/SubWiring.html Hope that helps you.

get the 9512-44, thats a dual 4ohm woofer. two of these woofers will allow you to operate at 1ohm. I would like to ask though, why mtx 9500? there ok subs but expensive "for what your getting" I think a Tf one is cheaper and much higher build quality + power handling! your call, just thought i would throw that out there!!!!

before you choose whether you want a SVC or DVC subwoofer...

a) what car is it going into
b) what amp are you p[lanning on using
c) what kind of electrical upgrades do you plan on doing.

if you really want those 9500's to shine, your going to need at least 1500rms which is gonna require some electrical upgrades
