system gone crazy

So I have been running the same setup since december of last year.

I was driving to work this morning and 10 mins into the drive LOUD ear drum killing static!! I couldnt turn the volume down so I shut it off. When I turned it back on again, same thing. I hear no music at all.

Checked the wiring, nothing looks to be shorting...what could it be?

No smokes from the amps, no overheating either.

Possibly cleaning all the grounds will fix.

Sounds like a head unit issue to me. Fully amplified system by the sounds of it. Unplug your rca's from the amp, leave the stereo on. Plug in a IPOD into the amp and see if you get sound or not. No = bad amp or speaker or speaker line sending the amp into protection, yes = bad head unit or rca cable going to ground.

well i cylced the power and everything is playing normall except both my tweeters are blown... focal k2ps are gone

All amps are working and head unit is outputting signals on all 6 channels.

Infinite resistance through the tweeters...and no sound from the tweets
