Line Level Controller
#1
Does anyone make a line level controller that I can use to control my sub amp from the driver's seat. I don't want an Epicenter or other "bass restoration" device nor do I want something that boosts certain frequencies. I also don't want to install an in-dash sub-crossover with sub level like an Audiocontrol 3.1 as I don't have room.
I simply want a **** that will allow me to adjust the volume of my subs to compensate for music with more/less bass and the convertible top being up/down and NOT DEGRADE the signal.
Thanks to all.

Alpine 4913 Subwoofer Level Control ( I think that's the right number ). Used to retail for about $80.
Alpine also included it in the Bass Engine package so you may find one used cheap.

cheaper option.

It goes inline with the Sub RCA. Only problem is running RCA's back up to the front, if you have to.

Perfect...I have the same thing from Orion (you may have seen my other post) with an RCA in and DIN out, however, my Rockford amp needs an RCA in from the line level controller. I thought that I might not be able to use the one I have because it needed "phantom power" from an Orion amp. I think maybe that phantom power was only needed to run the LED light on the line level contoller. I'm going to try my controller with an DIN to RCA conversion first. If not, I will get Navone's product.
Thanks,

That's gonna cost $40 by the time it gets here so not bad BUT the Alpine boasts the feature of BOOST even though it is all passive - figure that one out...
