Grande Prairie is still pretty busy even with the oil shortage lately. Housing is expensive but if you look around to rent a room and such it's not to bad. I rent a brand new house with 2 others for 500/mth. apartments are around 1100/mth. Job wise you can find constructions work in a second, goto any jobsite with work clothes on and youll start that day. Eveywhere is like that. Tim hortons starts at 15/hr ft, mcdonalds 14/hr ft and superstore pays 18/hr now for nightshift stocking shelves.

The way i also see it is that because the industry is running so fast in that placem there is ALWAYS room for advancement in any place you go too. Poeple leaving in such. And also companys are also willing to give you any kind of training even apprenterships.

I'm still thinking on moving out west, It's all depending on my girl now

THEN AGAIN, THERE ARE ALWAYS PLENTY OF FISH IN THE SEA.
