Thanks for the offer zoomer, I'm gonna try to find an IDQ first. I've run a kappa perfect a few years ago in a custom sealed box and loved it, but now I'm curious to see what else is out there.

As for getting more power, unless I find $600 or more to buy a HO alt, and a mono amp, 400rms is all I can work with right now.

As for Futureshop and Bestbuy: for car audio it just feels like you're turning around and bending over. Don't get me wrong, you can find good deals sometimes, but I hardly support those big box stores. With that said, my only other option is online. in a city of 50,000 there's nowhere else to buy. (maybe I should start a shop)

ya they pop up every once in a while for that price. i just checked and the ad for the ones i am talking about and it was pulled down, but there is another for a store in scarborough selling them brand new for $150. ...not quite the 130 i saw, but still pretty damn cheap if you ask me.

Yes, I remember Chris from S&S had all kinds of ID subs on crazy sale a while ago and these are the last ones. I completely forgot about it and remembered when I spoke to him. I just grabbed them to satisfy my curiosity as I always do with all of my gear, that is why I have barely used stuff for sale often.

I recently sold one of Nobelium subs to Jalat, which he says he is really enjoying btw, and still have one left to sell, and from that I have a dual 10" sealed enclosure, so i thought I grab these IDQ's to play with, so that the enclosure won't get bored. I was looking into filling that box with a couple of IDMaxes, but the box is 1.2 cubes total and that may choke the IDMaxes and I wont be able to utilize full xmax. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but that is my estimate. I also looked into getting a couple of Elemental Designs E5.10's, as they look interesting at 25mm xmax at 20 lbs a driver. As you can see fate had me get a copule of IDQ's. Chris and Steve of S&S were great.

Now, I gotta make room in my basement and I want to get rid of one enclosure. If anyone wants one for free. It is grey with black face for two 12's. Ported an u/k freq and around 2.5 cubes total. Great for a couple of entry level subs. FREE!!!!
