Soundstream Partners with Tundrasolutions.com...
Rancho Cordova, CA, March 2001 -- Soundstream Technologies, Inc., in conjunction with TundraSolutions.com, is ready to debut their latest demo vehicle, Project: Tundra.
Soundstream has long been known as an industry-leading manufacturer of car audio gear. Highly regarded for such unique products as the DaVinci, Tarantula, and Continuum amplifiers, Soundstream has been a perennial favorite in the competition lanes. In order to showcase some of their newest products they have partnered with the Internet's leading source for information on one of today's hottest trucks, TundraSolutions.com.

"TundraSolutions.com is an online web based community of current and prospective Toyota owners who share information and news about their cars and trucks. Additionally, members provide ideas to other owners; they can upload pictures of their vehicles to their own home page, learn about TRD and aftermarket performance products, and find links to related sites," stated Lon Vennard who founded the company in 1999. With more than 3.5 million hits per month and nearly 3000 registered members TundraSolutions.com continues to grow.

To promote both companies, Soundstream and TundraSolutions.com worked together to create a one of a kind show truck. The truck features 18" wheels, a custom exterior paint job and body modifications, and numerous engine upgrades. But the real excitement is on the inside. The truck is quite literally stuffed with audio gear. The interior is dominated by yards of hand laid color-matched fiberglass. The one-piece wrap around sub box, center console, and amplifier rack is the focal point of the installation. It is home to a bevy of Soundstream gear, namely a Tarantula amplifier, 2) Rubicon1002, a Rubicon604, and 4) Exact12 subwoofers. Left, center, right, and surround speakers are all Exact6.3 or 4.3 components in custom mounting locations with even more fiberglass work. The truck also features a complete Alpine DVD, navigation, 5.1 sound processing, and alarm system as well as cabling from Monster Cable, sound deadening by Dynamat, and Optima batteries. It is a must see ride.

Project: Tundra will be making its debut in the Soundstream booth at the upcoming Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida from March 23-25, 2001. After that it can be seen making appearances up and down Florida at authorized Soundstream dealers.
