I always hated MTX, except for their old 225HO amp.

Pretty damn low too.
It's also a shame to see RF stoop to that sort of low too.

There's many company's that do head to head, cars, trucks etc... so why should that stop the audio industry from doing the same, saves the hassle of bringing up multiple charts to see what's different, how it's made etc... I myself isn't a fan of mtx but if there marketing helps them out more to them....

To each his own. If thats the only way they can make themselves look good by talking trash then so be it. Everyone seems to be on the W7 bashing band wagon lately. Funny, where were all these so called superior products when the W7 came out a few years ago? Not to sound conceided but I think the W7 was the first real SQ Superwoofer. It set the standard in the industry (everyone is comparing their product to W7, not RF, Pioneer not MTX).
Its so easy to ride on the coat tails of others and try to out do or discredit them. Talking trash, misleading statements, sexy girls on ads etc etc is not how JL sells gear. Never has been, never will.

I found it refreshing - much better than the majority of other ads out there - like the rachel droid ones... man, I just want to buy some of that equipment.

It kinda reminds me of the old streetwires vs. PG wiring ads, or the what sucks? from SS
