Teh 300zx is still not finished. it's been a really cold winter, so its hard to heat up the garage to acceptable working temperatures... I was doing some kick pannel work but once it got cold, i just stoped completely...

Mr. Marco should I book my Tee-off time at 8am?
how does the Denonford compare to the actual Z1?
Is there much difference?
The Z1 has the Alpha 24 Processing that comes from the AL24 that's in Denon's top of the line home audio equipment, I can't see them incorporating that into a deck for Rockford so I would imagine there would still be a bit of difference in sound.
I understand that it sounded good, but how was it tonally? Was it brighter than most decks like the Z1 was/is?

Is this just a tease? Will you share with us this upgrade? Or is it secret?
He hasn't even told me yet!!! But whatever he's doing to his is being done to mine too.......... even if I don't know what it is. He already has a better P9 procesor then me. He can't be head of the curve on this one too.

</font>[/QUOTE]talking with a friend in texas ... as soon as I can finalize the $4.99 part numbers, I will share
Hmmm, I'm scared, a deck that sounds better than the Z1? That's frightnening, I couldn't imagine that.
Think your friend could do anything for my Clarion 9255? I want it to sound like a Z1 or CD-700II

with the upgrades I have planned, mine should be close to equal or maybe even better than the z1 and a small fraction of the cost of a z1

I'm not sure I like the look of it though, it's kinda weird compared to the Z1 even though they are basically the same deck cosmetically.

I believe it uses the same Denon Alpha processor as in the DCT-1000r actually which was also 20 bit. Would be nice to get that upgraded though, keep me posted Marco, Id' be interested in upgrading my unit as well.
