MMATS 1400.2 or Earthquake PHD2

Hi guys, I have an RE XXX 15 and i have it in a 2.3 cubic feet sealed box. I have a choice between a MMATS 1400.2 ( same as d300hc) and an Earthquake PHD2. Which amp would you guys recommend and why?

I would go for MMATS from the info i have researched on those amps they sound pretty awesome

Reason being there not that big in size, make big power down low and from what i heard they dont get that hot alot like alot of amps out there

they are both pretty old school. PHD2 is a more powerfull amp but it tends to blow up more than mmats.
