i always tell the customer to call the shop back and tell the mechanic that i said they havent got a clue what they are doing and if they want to learn ,to come to my shop.......... i have no problems if they want to bring it on!!!!!!!!! i cant stand that they go to school for four yr, and they have no ability to trouble shoot!!!!!!!!!and when they do, they carge 100 bucks and hr, only to deduct that they cant find the problem and claim its the alarm or deck we just put in that caused the 06 gmc truck to fail aircare.BULL SHI@# do some work, get out your multimeter and test some wires!!!!!! holy crap or even call us...... i am more than happy to assist the dealers........ hell i know i have called them on more than one occasion for help........ ding...theres the bell got to go to fridge and grab a beer sorry boys cheers!!!!!!!

Cool some peoples kids

So after a week or so the customer in question returns to claim that the dealership fixed her horn. Suzuki claims that the alarm caused her horn to short out, thus causing the horn to only work while key is out of the ignition. I smell bullsh@t, but that is only my opinion, oh ya did i mention her suzuki sidekick was 16 years old!!!!!!

Talking

^ Now I have not played with every single horn in every single car I have worked on, but every single horn that I HAVE played with was a negative trigger horn.

Soooo if you short the wire in the car, the horn goes off... not dies.

Anyways...

what she forgot to mention is that the horn stopped working half way through the wedding persetion!!!!!!!!!! people if you are on the horn for more than 10 -15 min non stop it will burn out!!! next time ask if they were at a wedding........... or at a funeral of someone they hate! also on older gm and fords there is a shorting brass tab and over time it corrodes and dosent make contact anymore..... you have to remove the face of the steering wheel to acsess it but it usually is only 2 screws........

My fav was a cust last winter with a brand new sante fe. Installed autostart and they come back right after we give them the keys and say they came in with a full tank and now have a half tank of gas. Tells our manager that we stole gas outta his car, cuz none of the guys here could afford gas. Being a big company guy bitches and ends up getting 25 bucks for gas.
