Man that thing just SCREAMS "Steal Me!!!"

Good luck with that. Window tint might be a good investment.

The local shop never installs the amp to the sub box unless the customer absolutely just has to have it there. The shop has seen a few people come in after having been in an accident where they sub box moved quite a bit, and the amps got completely wrecked. They just usually install them on the back of the seat or sometimes on a side panel. I guess I would prefer that the amp(s) be installed to something that is least likely to move around.

I used to have my amp mounted to my box back in the day. Never caused any damage!

well heres the deal from what i understand..

You should never mount your amp to your sub box which i have done all my life and when i get my amp workin im gunna mount it to back seat...

anyways reason is the vibration could cause parts to come lose and another is if your box is just lying arond in the trunk and If someone is stealing your **** well if they grab the box they got your amp also but if your amp is mounted somewhere it might be less accessible so if your **** does get stolen you still might have your amp cause it was mounted somewhere where it was a bitch to get at... but its to easy for em to grab box with amp straped to it and throw it in a car...
