When was the last time you had a flat that required a spare? In the last 7 years I have had one, due to a pothole. I happened to be just 1km from my house but BCAA would have me covered anyway.

Lose the spare, use the air

I really do like the way that looks just nice clean and out of the way. I don`t think I have that much depth to play with unfortunatly. But looking at the way that amp is mounted makes me think. But I am guessing having some plexi over the woofers would be detrimental to the sound haha correct

Thats why sub grilles are made of wire mesh.

About the 8"subs, I still wouldn't run them without an enclosure. You could exceed the excursion limit and damage the subs. Do some research and see if you can run those subs without a box. Under powering the subs could be a solution.

Ya I'd def be putting anything i get in enclosures. Why I was thinking a solid piece instead of grills is my dog is 90 pounds and likes to jump around so I didn't think her standing on the grils would be good haha

you can use Plexi...just cut 1/2" wide slits over the subwoofer to let the sound/air out. You can use wood as well and cut 1/2 moon cut outs above the sub, then use some heavier steel expanded mesh to prevent the pup's feet from going though.

Hmmm good to know about the slot options
Nope haha not a magnum. I guess it's not really a wagon more of a crossover but not a van and not what I'd call an SUV. It's a buick rendezvous. Since its on a unibody light minivan platform I'd call it a new wagon.
Now another problem I have is I have the premium 8 speaker system with the 6x9 "subs" (Comps up front, rear door speakers and 2 "subs")Everything but the lows sounds fantastic so I don't want to mess with the fronts just teh rear for some low end. Will I have some problems with a line out converter because of this?

Where are the factory 6 x 9 subs? You should try and leverage their location and find something better to take their place.
